Mental Health & Wellbeing

To supplement the experiential development opportunities that can be achieved through our leadership and workforce development with horses, Equi-scotia also offers First Aid for Mental Health Training. This one day course is SQA and Ofsted accredited and regular open courses are offered online and can be booked directly on the website.

Equine Facilitated Learning Practitioner needs

Learn new skills to facilitate learning with horses which will:
  • Gain an accredited qualification
  • Enable access to insurance cover for equine facilitated learning activities
  • Connect with a network of other practitioners and potential partners to personal development and mental health in your local area
  • Provide access to mentor support from experienced practitioners
  • Be eligible to bid for contract work and grant funding to provide Equine Facilitated learning services.
